Diwali outfit details.

Hey guys! Hope you are having a great week so far. I know I know that I’ve done exactly what I said I wouldn’t do, i.e. go MIA. But the fact of the matter is that I have been extremely busy with work (personal and otherwise) what with all the preps going on in full swing for Diwali at my place. Needless to say, I indulged in a lot of sweets for Diwali – still am. October was a busy month for me with it being my birthday at the start of the month and Diwali just a couple of days later.

As my birthday was approaching, I had gone out to pick up an outfit for the same. Now I don’t know what it is but I get really picky about my birthday outfit. So after dragging my mom to almost every mall in Mumbai, we got to one of the Central stores where I stumbled upon some really amazing stuff – all in ethnic what with it being the pre-Diwali season. It was a huge disappointment for me as I do not generally wear ethnic outfits.

But nonetheless, I picked up some of the outfits out to try. One such outfit was a red and beige printed floor length gown. And let me tell you, the moment I laid my eyes on this piece I could see myself twirling in it! And just like that, I was sold! So, I decided to ditch shopping for my birthday for the moment and picked up the gown for Diwali instead!

Here is my complete look for Diwali:

P.S.: Ignore my silly stupid expressions in the photos, I’m still learning. 🙂

I paired this gown with a really pretty pair oxidized earring that I bought from a shop in Vile Parle and a pair of heels that I already owned.

So this was my look for Diwali. Do tell me about yours!

Until next time!

Ankitaa!
